One of the most complex aspects of MIPS is its ability to shiftshape. It does not limit itself to only people and animals, and can take forms inconceivable to us as a species. This trait carries on into all of its states, however, we have seen that its most prominent acts of shapeshifting have taken place in the digital, physical, and metaphysical states. It is also very common for MIPS to take on a form out of self-expression or out of a particular fondness for a character, but it will also change forms for other reasons such as mimicry and camoflauge as well.
The follow table will explain the identification and categorization process for MIPS' forms.
MIPS has the ability to turn into anyone, anything, and any concept. Only forms that serve a meaningful purpose to itself, not out of defense or simple imitation, will be listed.
